To clarify, we are thrilled to invite you to the second full production of cleaVage this October on the mainstage at Theatre Three in Uptown Dallas on October 22. The "real" story behind fake breasts, cleaVage is a comedic musical inspired by the surgeons, patients, and dog who shaped the spectacular rise, fall, and rebound of silicone gel breast implants.
Medical absurdity, legal controversy, body politics, and a Texas origin story featuring every possible boob pun--and that's just the first act. Audiences who attended the sold-out premiere run last year described cleaVage as historical, hysterical, educational, empowering, and surprisingly emotional. NPR (The Texas Standard), D Magazine, and multiple reviewers agree--and Texas Monthly called cleaVage "Hamilton with breasts."
