Welcome to Girlfriends Guide to Cancer—the podcast that tells you everything no one else does.

Inspired by the honesty of a girlfriend sitting across the table saying,
“Okay, let me tell you what it’s really like,”
this podcast pulls back the curtain on the real experience of breast cancer.
Because yes, we’ll talk about treatment plans and doctor appointments—but we’ll also talk about the things no one prepares you for: losing your hair, losing your confidence, staring at a body you no longer recognize, navigating intimacy and relationships, dealing with fear after treatment ends, managing the emotional roller coaster, and figuring out who you are after cancer.
Girlfriends Guide to Cancer is a space where women can be
honest, vulnerable, laugh, cry, ask the uncomfortable questions, and feel understood.
At the heart of every episode is the belief that courage is not the absence of fear—
it is choosing to move forward despite it.
This is your guide. Your community. Your reminder that you are stronger than your diagnosis.
Because surviving cancer was only the beginning.
GIRLFRIENDS GUIDE TO CANCER™
The real, raw, and courageous conversations no one tells you about.
MISSION
Girlfriends Guide to Cancer exists to give women the conversation we all wish came with a breast cancer diagnosis.
The pamphlets explain the treatment plan. The doctors explain the procedures. But no one hands you the girlfriend’s guide—the honest advice about the tears in the shower, the fear before scans, the changes in your marriage, the intimacy struggles, the menopausal symptoms, the identity shifts, and the journey of finding yourself again.
Through courageous conversations with survivors, caregivers, medical experts, and wellness professionals, we create a community where women feel understood, supported, and empowered—not just to survive cancer, but to reclaim their lives after it.
Powered by the Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation, our mission is to ensure no woman walks through breast cancer alone.
COURAGE
Courage is not the absence of fear. It is showing up despite fear.
HONESTY
We talk about the topics that are often whispered about or hidden.
CONNECTION
Every woman deserves a girlfriend who understands.
HOPE
There is beauty, purpose, and joy on the other side of diagnosis.
